DRILL

When you first join ATC you go through a bit of basic training that you will go through in any military organisation.

and one of first things you learn in the air cadets is DRILL.

Now to be honest to you guys I personally don't really like drill but the whole purpose of it is to give you discipline. As my dad puts it what is the most organised way of... Let's just say we have a 1000 soldiers the answer would be drill of course. Drill is a thing that has a lot of commands and orders to make people to obey and so it's easy to move them all together.

Drill is basically commands that are always in line with each other and all in time with each other.

Things you must not do;
 - talk
 - look around
 - moving about such as fidgeting
 - if you go wrong you must not correct yourself

The things you will learn if your newbie in the Army or RAF or Navy or any type of cadet organisation. You will learn how to stand at attention and stand at ease. Static left and right turns and 180 degrees turns and left and right 45 degree turns. Saluting and marching and 180 degrees turn on a march. You will learn how to fall in into a squad or flight properly and ect.
